My musical journey began at a young age with piano studies in primary school, followed by classical vocal training in secondary school and the study of music theory in high school. I later pursued a degree in Music Education, where I developed both my academic understanding and practical teaching experience. During this time, I also conducted field research on the preservation and performance of traditional folk songs from Chinese ethnic minorities.
In addition to piano, I have studied the guzheng, further expanding my musical perspective. I have gained valuable teaching experience through internships, including secondary school music instruction, rehearsal direction, and choir competition preparation.
Driven by a strong passion for pop music, I furthered my studies in pop vocal performance at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music and was later admitted to Kingston University in the UK, where I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Popular Music Performance. This marked the beginning of my journey into pop performance and artistic development.
I believe that true passion is the foundation of meaningful artistic work. My musical journey has broadened my perspective and introduced me to diverse musical traditions and styles. I am eager to continue exploring my artistic potential and look forward to connecting with like-minded musicians along the way.
